ST FRANCIS CHOIR DOES IT AGAIN

The St. Francis Choir, under the direction of Dr. David Schofield, performed their Passion music concert last Sunday afternoon. Those who have been to Sunday services are familiar with the accomplishments of this fine choir, and, on Sunday afternoon, would not have been disappointed either.

Dr. Schofield received the following note from a couple who happened to be passing by:

“My wife and I were passing by St. Francis Lutheran Church this past Sunday at 4:00 and noticed the program for Passion Music. We entered the church and were very impressed with the concert which you conducted. The singers were excellent and the whole ensemble projected the pieces beautifully. It was a splendid musical occasion for Palm Sunday and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the performance which we discovered completely by chance. Thank you very much. Peter and Heide.”

A BIG thank you to all who made our TRIDUUM such a spiritually powerful experience. Especially our Sacristans, led by Sam Aller, our Assisting Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Crucifers, Dave Walda and the Pastors.

    Dear Pastor Robert,

Thank you for your continued work for peace and justice through your partnership with the Lutheran Volunteer Corps. Because of your committed support, next year we will be expanding to 4 houses in the Bay Area and have 22 volunteers at 17 placements!
