CHRIS WOGAMAN'S FAREWELL
Chris will preach this morning. Chris first came to St. Francis in the summer of 2003 to volunteer while a student at Yale Divinity School, returning the next summer to complete his clinical pastoral education at Davies Hospital.
In 2005, he returned to preach at the final service for Fr. George Belcher, and in the last year, Chris completed his Lutheran seminary year at the Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley. Currently, Chris is awaiting placement in the Metropolitan New York Synod as a pastor in his first church, having been approved for ordination in the ELCA. Starting in November, Chris will be living and working at Holden Village in WA while he waits for this placement. Chris credits the people and core value of St. Francis of "claiming your wholeness" as formative in choosing to live openly gay in the ELCA as a pastoral candidate. "St. Francis is a place of great integrity and love, and I will miss everyone here as I move on."Chris Wogaman
Chris, we thank you for presence and your preaching. We wish you the very best in your endeavors of the heart. May God be with you.--Pastors Robert and Dawn
OUR THANKS TO KEN BROSHOUS and GENE CLARK for covering in the office during Dave Walda’s vacation.
If you would like one of your pastors to listen to your concerns or pain, don’t hesitate to ask us -make an appointment, or ask us to call you or mark the pew card. We can be distracted at times on Sundays, so it is best to set aside another time when we can really listen.Pastors Robert and Dawn

They can also email or call the church office expressing interest in the choir. Commitment is minimal. Attendance every week is NOT mandatory, but operates on a come as you can basis.
