PACKED CHURCH REMEMBERS GLORIA SIECH
The Nave of St. Francis was packed by a standing room crowd, even in the balcony, as we remembered Gloria’s life and thanked God for her. Pat Stein, her partner, put it well when she said that Gloria wanted her funeral at her beloved St. Francis because "not many people would come." In that remark Gloria was, once again, modestly understating how the people of San Francisco, the Bay Area and St. Francis regarded her. Several spoke of her love for people, her athletic leadership, her teaching skills and her sense of God’s grace. After the funeral a delicious, healthful catered reception was provided by Jessica Prentice, Deb Tully, Clifton King, Susan Tuccieri and Gray Hall (new member) and many others. Gloria’s cremains will be laid to rest in the Memorial Terrace at a date to be announced.
WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER:
- David Brightman, Tom Metz, and family in the passing of David's mother, Lucy Brightman on April 10

EASTER FUN FOR KIDS AND THE GROWN-UP'S, TOO
Once again the Annual Easter Egg Hunt capped a glorious Easter Worship. Thanks to Scott Beckerley and his team, the children had lots of fun discovering the eggs in the rear garden. Pastor Robert attempted twice to join in the hunt but was told to butt out. Also this Easter six persons were received into membership.
