Joint Lenten Services
St. Francis Lutheran Church and the Metropolitan Community Church join this Lenten season on Wednesday evenings for a Taizé service. This service, a product of the monastic community near Burgundy, France, uses silence, light and meditation through music and prayer. Services begin at 7PM on Wednesday during the season of Lent.
TAIZÉ TO CONTINUE

HEIRLOOM COMMUNION WARE RESTORED
We have begun restoration and repair of our communion ware at St. Francis. The first two pieces are done and will be used at the Sunday Easter service: The flagon and large communion tray from First Finnish Church. Other items are at a silversmith in town and will be reported on when they become available. If you would like to contribute to the restoration costs, please mark your check "Communion Ware."
Our thanks to Sam Aller and Pastor Robert.
EASTER LILIES
Lilly plants will be arranged in the sanctuary for Easter Sunday, April 8th. Anyone interested in furnishing one or more plants should make arrangements with Dave Walda at the office to drop them off by Friday, April 6th.
LET'S DO LUNCH!!!
Anyone interested in joining in a lunch following services on Easter Sunday should contact Barbara Kling.
LOOKING FOR A PIANO
St. Francis is seeking a donation of a piano to replace the one in the Parish Hall which is beyond repair. The ideal solution is to get a baby grand for the sanctuary donated, and move the upright currently in the sanctuary to the Parish Hall. However we will accept another upright. If you can help, please contact David Schofield.

The Rev. Lawrence J. Clark, son of Senior Program attendee, Mae Clark, and executive director of the Lutheran Theological Center, Atlanta, Ga., is featured March 25th and Palm Sunday, April 1st, on "Day 1,", a nationally broadcast weekly radio program, formerly known as "The Protestant Hour." SUNDAY CLASS
We are reading Diana Bass' Christianity For the Rest of Us, a real alternative to the religious right and a model with which to test St. Francis' vision.

You will find them in the racks on the back of the pews. Note the various ways they can be used to communicate with the staff of the congregation.
