AIDS WALK 2006 UPDATE: There are 181 registered walkers, no change from last week. On-line fund-raisers are 17 persons, up from 13 last week. Of those, 6 persons are Lutherans, up from 4 last week. The total funds raised on-line is $7,730.00 as of Thursday, a change from $5325.00 last week. Keep going! Any questions, please call me at 415-282-6022.    Max Kirkeberg

PLEDGES FOR THE ORGAN RENOVATION FUND: Enough pledges were collected last week to proceed with the first three phases of the Organ Renovation Project. The St. Francis Foundation is in the final stages of establishing a line of credit for the funding of the project in compliance with the Resolutions that were approved by the Congregation on June 18. Once that is done, the Council will sign the contract with the Organ builder for the initial stages of the project. However, we still need more pledges to proceed with the completion. The Organ Renovation Committee’s goal is the have enough money raised so that the Council can sign a contract for the remainder of the project prior to August 1. After August 1, costs may increase.

Please mail your pledges to the Church, Attention Dale Leininger, or put them in the Sunday Offering Plate.

If you would like a pledge form, or a copy of The Organ at St. Francis, which discusses the project, please contact David Walda at the Church Office. If you have questions, please contact a member of the Organ Renovation Committee.

CONGRATULATIONS TO RACHEL HOOBING for successfully passing the California (Multiple) Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET Multiple Subject) and for now having been officially accepted to Mills College
