AN INFORMALLY ORGANIZED GARDEN COMMITTEE has formed to maintain the St. Francis Yard, Memorial Terrace, and Grounds. The committee meets, gloved and ready to work, every other Saturday at 10:00 AM for an hour or two. Any member or friend of St. Francis who would like to lend a hand will always be welcomed. On Saturday June 17th the Garden Committee will prune the hedge surrounding the Memorial Terrace and Garden. Additional volunteers to help with this effort will be greatly appreciated. The Garden Committee will meet again on July 1, and notices of the bimonthly work days will all be posted in the St. Francis Times, and will soon be available on the internet-accessible church calendar. PRIDE PARADE JUNE 25, 2006  St. Francis has participated for years, marching with the Lutherans Concerned contingent.  We'd like to do it again, and we're hoping we can match the efforts of St. Mark’s.  They have invited us to join them at a Potluck Supper and Tie-dyeing Party on Saturday, June 10 from 5 to 9 PM.  The objective is to have an impressive contingent all in tie-dyed T-shirts with the names of our churches stenciled on the front and back.  To that end can we ask you to sign up prior to June 10 to march?  There will be a sign up sheet at coffee hours.  Let's support this free way to make St. Francis’ presence known.      Max Kirkeberg and Pastor Robert
