Those serving in the world:
THE SCANDINAVIAN HERITAGE of St. Francis Lutheran Church will be celebrated on February 5 with the commemoration of the patron saint of Denmark, St. Ansgar, and the patron saint of Finland, St. Henry. The year 2006 is significant as we look back to the history of our community with the earthquake of 1906 in Ansgar Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church and The First Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church. Without knowing our past, we cannot envision what the future could be. WORSHIP PLANNING COMMITTEE. Wednesday, January 25, 6:30 pm, in the Conference Room. The fee is only $10. Speak to one of the pastors if you need a scholarship. Please call the office to pre-register so adequate preparations can be made. In Matthews Gospel when the magi saw the shining star stop overhead, they were filled with joy. On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother. Invite the pastor to lead the blessing of your home or make the blessing a family affair. Requests for a house blessing are available in the pocket of the Worship Folder. PARTICIPATION IN ST.
